Staying home for the Holidays changed a grumpy old scrouge (me), into a cookie baking, present wrapping, card sending non-scrouge, who loves family traditions, but the change didn’t come easily, and the price paid quite steep and totally worth it.

It’s hard to talk and listen at the same time. If I am always telling my horses what to do, how to be, or ignoring them, when will I have the chance to listen to them? This has been the essence of my horse challenge – Buddy and the others have insisted that I take my listening skills to a new level. I hope I am giving them the deep level of try that I see them bring into my training sessions.
